SELS PORTO 2022
Academic Programme
Day 1 focused on Shareholders Agreement, General data protection Regulation and Fashion Law. Visit the Centre of Engineering and Product Development. Day 2 focused on smart and Cryptocurrency and Blockchain, this day ended with a institucional visit to Oporto Court of Appeal. Day 3 focused on Space Law and Introduction to Programming. Day 4 focused on Civil Liability for Damages Caused by Autonomous Vehicles and Digital Platforms for Legal Use.
Social Program
In the social program, the participants had the opportunity to visit many beautiful places such as Santa Catarina Street and Aliados, they also had the chance to visit wine cellars and experiment a surf class and so much more.
SELS PORTO 2023
Academic Programme
On the first day, our Participants learnt about Shareholders' Agreement, General Data Protection Regulation, and Cryptocurrency and Blockchain. On the second day, they had the opportunity to learn about Smart Contracts, Copyright in Digital Age, and Artificial Intelligence and Patents. On the third day, they learnt about Space Law and Introduction to Programming. On the fourth day, our Participants went in a journey about Digital Platforms for Legal Use and Civil Liability for Damages Caused by Autonomous Vehicles. Finally, the fifth day, was focused on Consumer Law and Artificial Intelligence within Corporate Governance; plus, our Participants had a debate about Law and Tech. SELS Porto is pleased to have an Academic Programme with a panel of renowned speakers and such important topics in the field of Law and Tech!
Social Program
The SELS Porto '23 Social and Cultural Programme was very rich and enjoyable! Our Participants had the opportunity to visit the city of Porto and its most famous places (Avenida dos Aliados, Torre dos Clérigos, Jardins do Palácio de Cristal, Ribeira and others). But more than that: they were able to live and feel Porto's culture (they visited a fado house!), despite the academic tradition of the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto.
